Incoterms (International Commercial Terms)

FOB – Free On Board (Port of Loading)

Under FOB terms, Evergreen Trade Group is responsible for:

  • Delivery of goods to the designated port

  • Loading goods onto the vessel

Buyer’s responsibility begins once the cargo is loaded on board, including:

  • Ocean freight

  • Insurance

  • Destination customs clearance

  • Inland transportation

Best suited for: Experienced buyers with their own shipping and insurance arrangements.

CFR – Cost and Freight (Port of Destination)

Under CFR terms, Evergreen Trade Group is responsible for:

  • All FOB responsibilities

  • Ocean freight to the destination port

Buyer is responsible for:

  • Marine insurance

  • Destination port charges

  • Customs clearance and inland delivery

Risk transfers to the buyer once goods are loaded on board, even though freight is prepaid by the seller.

Best suited for: Buyers who want freight arranged but prefer to manage insurance themselves.

CIF – Cost, Insurance & Freight (Port of Destination)

Under CIF terms, Evergreen Trade Group provides:

  • Export clearance and loading

  • Ocean freight to the destination port

Buyer is responsible for:

  • Destination port charges

  • Customs clearance

  • Inland transportation

DDP – Delivered Duty Paid (Final Destination)

Under DDP terms, Evergreen Trade Group handles:

  • Export and import customs clearance

  • Ocean or air freight

  • Insurance

  • Duties, taxes, and customs fees

  • Final delivery to buyer’s specified address

Buyer receives the goods fully delivered with no logistics involvement required.

Best suited for: Buyers who want a complete door-to-door solution with maximum convenience.

Step-by-Step Shipment Journey

  • Buyer issues Purchase Order (PO) or LOI

  • Contract is signed and Proforma Invoice issued

  • Advance payment is confirmed

Step 3: Booking & Scheduling

  • Container booking with approved shipping lines
